Marina Summer — proudly representing Tāmaki Makaurau — steps into her role as Miss World IMVU New Zealand 2026 with resilience, humility, and a heart deeply shaped by community and culture.

At 27 years old, Marina is an ordinary woman from Aotearoa whose journey has been defined by love, learning, and perseverance. She grew up embraced by her whānau — a traditional community that supported her in her smallest days and lifted her back to her feet during moments when she felt nearly powerless. That foundation instilled in her a deep respect for family, belonging, and collective strength.

Marina does not claim perfection. Her life, like many others, has been filled with lessons, disappointment, hesitation, and moments of questioning her own self-worth. Yet, every time she fell, it was the unwavering belief of her family and community that guided her back up — believing in her even on the days when she struggled to believe in herself.

Her inspiration does not come from feeling extraordinary, but from the ordinary people who walk alongside her. She draws strength from the Māori community that taught her to gently carry mana — the human burden — and from a culture that showed her that dreams are not reserved for the privileged or superior, but belong to anyone courageous enough to reach for them with their own hands.

Today, as she wears the Miss World IMVU New Zealand 2026 sash, Marina stands not to present herself as flawless, but to prove that an ordinary woman who refuses to give up can turn her dreams into reality. She hopes her journey serves as a reminder to young women everywhere: that they have real potential, a voice that matters, and the strength to stand up again — no matter how many times they fall.

As Miss World IMVU New Zealand 2026, Marina looks ahead with a clear and heartfelt dream: to create tangible impact through unity and shared action. Her initiative, BWAP – Marina Voice, is envisioned to grow from a campaign into a movement — a space where ordinary people are heard, respected, and empowered to lead. Through this project, she seeks to build bridges for those who have been overlooked, offering opportunities for expression, connection, and collective growth within the virtual world.

Committed to walking alongside Māori culture, the dreams of youth, and the belief in the power of ordinary people, Marina embraces her role not simply to wear the crown, but to use it as a guiding light for others. Ultimately, she hopes that anyone who encounters her story will understand that dreams matter, small beginnings carry great power, and the greatest changes in the world happen when ordinary people choose not to stop their journey.

Now crowned Miss World IMVU New Zealand 2026, Marina will proudly represent her country on the world stage at the 11th Miss World IMVU Festival, scheduled for April 2026.
